All the applicants applying to West Bengal University of Animal and Fishery Sciences for admission to Diploma in Veterinary Pharmacy (D.V.P.) Degree Course (Academic Session: 2023-2024) must read the following instructions carefully and also abide by the rules of admission given bellow fully before proceed to apply.

Applicants are advised to do not use mobile phone to fill application form. Use desktop or laptop computer while filling application form online.

Applicants are requested to use up to date version of Google Chrome / Mozilla Firefox Browser to fill up the Form for the best performance.

Applicants must have their own and guardian's valid E-Mail Id and Mobile Number for applying online. Please, verify your application information and attachments before form submission. All attached documents should be visible clearly for e-verification purpose. Applicants are advised to scanned the documents in jpg/jpeg format under specified size before upload in form submission.

Step-1: Applicants need to fill in the Application Form Online by entering their personal details, address and academic details. Click "Next" to preview the Application form at a glance. Applicants should review the application carefully before clicking "Next" button to submit the details. Once application is submitted there is no scope of updating of any details.

Step-2: Applicants need to upload scanned Images of their Color Photograph, Signature, Marks sheet of Secondary and H.S.(10+2) or its equivalent examinations, Domicile Certificate and Category Certificate (wherever applicable). The scanned images should be in jpg/jpeg format only. Size of the Photo can be minimum 10 KB or maximum 100 KB. Size of the Signature can be minimum 8 KB or maximum 50 KB. Size of the Marks sheets, Age Proof Certificate, Domicile Certificate and Caste certificate (wherever applicable) can be minimum 150 KB or maximum 500 KB. Once the application form is submitted successfully, a unique Application Number will be generated automatically. Applicant should have to note and preserve the Application Number carefully for further process.

Applicants are requested to visit the Applicant Panel frequently for getting admission related notices, information, etc.

Important Instructions : Candidates must have to upload following scanned copies (colour) of their original documents in JPG format. Application will not be accepted unless required documents are uploaded.

1. Admit card of Secondary Examinations /Birth certificate for verification of date of birth.
2. Mark sheet of Secondary Examinations.
3. Mark sheet of Higher Secondary (10+2) Examinations.
4. Domicile Certificate
5. Category certificate (wherever applicable).

Applicant must preserve the Application No. for future references like counselling, admission, etc. Applicants who will not be able to refer the Application No. cannot be entitled for any communications.

The applicant will be solely responsible for providing information in the online application form. In case of any discrepancy found during physical verification of original documents, even after admission, the application/ candidature will be rejected.

Incomplete application will be rejected. Over looking is not a right to claim.

1. Citizenship: The Applicant must be a citizen of India.
    
2. Age- Not less than 17 years and not more than 32 years as on 31st December of the year of application. There shall be a relaxation of the upper age limit by maximum 3 (three) years for SC/ST/OBC-A & B candidates.
    
3. The candidate must be a domicile of West Bengal.
    
4. The candidate must pass Higher Secondary (10+2) Examination of the West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education or its equivalent examination in science stream from any recognized Board/ Council from any institution.
    
5. The candidate must pass the Higher Secondary (10+2) or its equivalent examinations with English, Physics, Chemistry and Biology or Mathematics as compulsory subjects with individual pass marks (in both theory and practical wherever applicable) in all the above four subjects in regular class mode.
    
6. The candidate must obtain at least 45% marks (40% in case of candidates belonging to SC, ST, OBC-A, OBC-B, PwD) in above four subjects taken together.
    
7. The selection of students for admission will be done as per merit list without any Entrance Examination. The merit list will be prepared according to the percentage of total marks obtained in the subjects of H.S. or it's equivalent examinations as stated above.
    
8. Students of the Vocational stream or Open schooling are not eligible for the course.
